The Park and Ride entrance from the A944 will be closed from Tuesday 15.01.13 (am).
There is currently a prohibition notice in place to stop cars from exiting the Park and Ride onto the A944, but Drum Property Group have not enforced it to date, as a gesture of goodwill over the Christmas period.
The time has now come, to enforce both. So from Tuesday morning, no vehicles can enter the Park and Ride from, and only construction traffic can exit onto, the A944.
The sketch (below) reinforces information previously provided. Advance warning signage is being placed on site today (11 jan 2013), to advise road users of the alternative route, which is shown on the sketch. All public traffic should enter via the C89 and exit via the newly formed exit adjacent to the top car park.
Drum Property Group will also be implementing an off-peak westbound lane 1 closure next week to allow works to be undertaken in the verge. This is likely to be in operation from Monday until Friday inclusive, from 09:30 until 16:00 each day.
Advance warning signage were put in place on Wednesday.
